By far the greatest root cause is actually the adjustment in the natural world of the polar bear. Many life-threatening conditions are created for these cold weather bears when the ice melts. Global warming that is associated to industrialization and activities such as driving a car, burning coal, as well as other human projects induces the ice melting.

The Bear Essential
Polar bears are actually a substantial varieties that make their homes on the frozen Arctic marine. The bears will certainly waste the majority of their lives on the ice. Males can increase up to ten feet in period and weigh in at over 1,300 pounds! The bears are actually carnivores, indicating they eat the meat of additional Arctic animals. At present there are actually predicted to be actually merely 20 to 50 thousands polar bears left in the wild. They are actually on the Endangered Species List.

Why They’re At Prospect
The best risk to the survival of the polar bear varieties is the noted warming of the Arctic marine which is actually leading to the melting of the ice these bears call home. Although the bears make use of the ice for breeding and relaxing as well, it’s principal element is to give a cover for the bears as they hunt seals. Without appropriate ice, the bears can easily not prolong a long way sufficient from land to hunt ample food to thrive. The bears are emerging as malnourished and lots of are dying of hunger. This dynamic is actually effecting female bears by having cubs in a excellent quantity creating reduced survival prices of the newer generations. Increased threats to polar bears feature raised race ins by having humans due to the forced time spent on land, and spills, development as well as shipping techniques relating to oil in the Arctic.

Who Is actually Helping, and How
Major contributors to the fight to conserve the Arctic Polar Bear include the Coca-Cola Provider and the Globe Fauna Fund. All together these organizations are actually raising hard earned cash to analysis what is actually generating international temperature change as well as functioning with governmental bureaus to manipulate greenhouse gas exhausts. Other major projects feature energies to avoid unfavorable human connections consisting of poaching and extraordinary travel and leisure and defending critical environment spots such as birthing dens.

Practical knowledge is actually power. Come to be additional enlightened about this crucial topic by visiting Polar Bears at World Wild Life.

What are some causes of polar bear extinction?

Polar bears are not facing extinction despite the numerous films and comments. Their ice shelves are changing so they are having to swim or travel elsewhere for sustenance. The claimed reasons are global warming reducing fish supply and hence reducing the food for bears ie seals/ walrus. global warming making less ice and making it more difficult to trap the seals. Expansion of human settlements and the bears dependence on human detritus at the expense of seals leading to them being shot by man in fear of his own safety.

Polar Bears are not extinct. They are listed as endangered. Scientists predict that if current warming trends continue wild Polars Bears may become extinct. They are considered one of the first animals to be majorly affected by global warming. The world has gone thru warming and cooling trends for thousands and thousands of years.

Polar bears aren’t extinct. They may become extinct, but until then you can’t really ask that question. Maybe you could re-phrase it?

The food chain and animal extinction? If polar bears become extinct, what would the consequences be? Since humans are at the top of the food chain, would it have any effect on any other organism if we became extinct? Sources?

    > If polar bears become extinct, what would the consequences be? Their prey animals would increase in number. > would it have any effect on any other organism if we became extinct Yes. Most of our crop plants and some animals (e.g. the domesticated turkey) would become extinct.

you need to include character assassination and defamation of any heretic in the community that betrays the lie. also the the way the cult has got the media as their spokesman. another thing is how they’ve gotten people conditioned so no matter what happens weather wise- normal, abnormal or extreme is proof of the lie. other than that, it is indeed how they are playing the game.

Good answer. Award yourself 10 points for best answer – I can hardly think of a way to improve upon it. But let me add: Well organized cults try to shield their members from opposing viewpoints by controlling information. There is a concerted effort to refuse/exclude journal submissions that disagree or even question the “prevailing” point of view. This story was hailed by Bob as an example of a skeptic’s (Soon’s) “bad” science, but it’s hard to see it as anything less than an effort to simultaneously de-legitimize both a study and a journal. This has become a all too frequent experience. See Benny Peiser’s or McIntyre & McKitrick’s snubbing. The level of organization of this disinformation campaign would make those in the former USSR’s Ministry of Information proud. The IPCC has even created more than a few disgruntled zealots with their tight-fisted control of the “consensus” view.

we will have to suffer for letting the polr bears drown. that is what makes a criminal criminal: he thinks that he will not get his punishment somehow. but there are no exceptions to the laws of mother nature. we will pay for that. by the grace of god.

Is the guy counting the polar bears the same guy who said there is life on a planet 120 trillion miles away. Where does he find the time.

This question is absolutely ridiculous, and offending to God. You are not to blame the Lord thy God for anything. All good things are of God. All EVIL or BAD things are linked unto Satan, the father and root of all evil. God made the promise not intervene with the free will he graciously gave us out of love. Humans are causing Global Warming, mortals are ignorant and sinful, and if you blaming God like so then you are doubtfully on good terms with him. I would suggest bring forth to God the fruit of repentance for questing his almightiness.

With the rebellion and fall of man through sin, perfection of GOD’s creation, on THIS PLANET, was thrown into chaos. ( divine intervention and control was subverted ) The consequence of sin and rebellion is death of many kinds. JESUS IS GOD Believe in THE LORD JESUS GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIMSELF >>> JESUS JESUS bless you, dave

Aussies: Can you please save the polar bears before the whales? I was watching my country’s news talking about how to import minke whale throats or something, and I was quite surprised that the news talked about it so casually! Ordinary Japanese people don’t seem to realize that whaling is a bad thing because whale slaughter has been a part of our culture for centuries. They don’t realize that it’s something wrong to do TODAY. But then the news changed to polar bears in danger of extinction. Australians, how about doing something to save the polar bears rather than throwing stink bombs at Japanese whaling ships? I think it’s much more useful than trying to save the whales because the Japanese are stubborn and ignorant they probably won’t give up for quite a while. The polar bears need urgent help. Well I’m saying, if you’re going to do “something”, why not help the polar bears? The Japanese suck so it seems they don’t want to do anything.

Two reasons: 1 The whales actually swim past our coasts on their migration. 2 Japan is hunting whales in our backyard. I would be very surprised if your “traditional” whale hunts were carried on using factory ships in the Southern Ocean.

The thing about whaling is the fact that they are doing it in Australian waters and under the pretense of scientific research. Polar bears are dying in the North Pole a long way from our waters because of global warming.
